Groundwater Rule [GWR] (W-102)

The workbook for this (1) day workshop addresses and summarizes 86 pages of new requirements in the federal Groundwater Rule.



The salient points presented in the program are: The GWR requirement, eight required elements in the sanitary surveys, source water monitoring, corrective treatment technique requirements and 4 log disinfection effort, compliance monitoring, including "trigger monitoring". Also covered are waterborne disease outbreaks in groundwater systems, microbial contamination (bacteria and viruses), E. coli, shigella, salmonella, rotavirus, norwalk virus, and contamination of community and non-community PWS.
