COVID-19 Update

OCT Water Quality Academy is following procedures under current directive of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and remains committed to the well-being and safety of our students and staff.

OCT has resumed all scheduled classes and has expanded web-based training. Zoom classes are available to be livestreamed by an experienced instructor for the duration of a normal (7-hour) class to provide increased flexibility for students. Students will have access to the training from home and after each class session, participating students will receive a certificate of completion in the mail. Upon enrollment, we will send detailed instructions about Zoom and how to access the class. Books will be mailed prior to the start of class and handouts are available for download on our website under the resources tab. In order to access the classes, you will need a desktop or mobile device. Personal cameras are preferred but not necessary for participation in the class. We are also maintaining in-seat sessions at the North Highlands location with a maximum of 10 operators per session.

During this time some of our staff will be working remotely but are still available for your inquires and requests. If you call our office and are unable to directly reach the person you are attempting to contact, please leave your name, number, and a detailed message and someone will return your call as quickly as possible. Our voicemail box is monitored frequently and our staff will respond to all inquiries in a timely manner. Moving forward, OCTWQA is keeping a watchful eye on the recommendations of the CDPH and government officials in order to maintain the needs of our learners and staff.
